JJP Training Ltd is a small, local company closely linked with Chesham Moor Gym & Swim. There are four trainers (Jonathan, Bex, Chris and Taryn) to choose from so that you can work with the trainer who is best suited to your fitness goals. Here is a little information about them:

Jonathan has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc hons) and has worked as a personal trainer for ten years, mostly specialising in general fitness, functional training and weight loss. He spends his spare time walking his dog Penny in the countryside, playing his guitar and learning Spanish. When it comes to his own training, he believes in an all round approach to fitness, so combines weight training with running and yoga as the benefits of each of these compliment each other.

Bex completed her degree in finance, and then decided it was just not for her. Bex’s true passion is in fitness, and she has competed in and officiated in triathlons for many years now. Bex specialises in triathlon and endurance training as well as general fitness, and is also a swimming coach. In Bex’s spare time, you can usually find her beating her previous personal best on the exercise bike. Bex also loves to go travelling, and many of her events take her all around Europe. 

Chris has worked in the leisure industry for six years with a passion for fitness in the gym environment, and qualified as a personal trainer in 2017. His focus is on supporting clients, helping them reach achievable goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Chris has recently spent several months backpacking through New Zealand and South East Asia. He enjoys running, cycling and playing his guitar in his spare time.


As a mother of two children, Taryn appreciates the importance of being fit and healthy. Taryn leads a very active life, with running and Crossfit playing a big part in her training regime.

Taryn is very keen on passing on to her clients some of the benefits that her lifestyle has given her, so that they too can get the most out of life.

You have probably seen me at the Moor more often or not, wrapped up, putting clients through their paces or training myself, sweating profusely with a face the colour of beetroot, thinking to yourself, who is this woman?!
Let me introduce myself ... my name is Hannah and the best way to describe myself is a fitness fanatic. I practice what I preach and am passionate about what I do. I am a fun-loving, warm- hearted, honest person that strives to help clients achieve their goals. My qualifications in personal training, exercise referral and cardiac rehabilitation enable me to do what I love on a daily basis.

At Chesham Moor Gym and Swim I not only have one-to-one clients but also teach Armageddon – a fast paced, group exercise class. This is one of my favourite classes to teach with clients achieving such great results.
